Getting Started

Unpack and inspect contents. Remove all packaging materials.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries (included).
  2. Test unit: Press ON button to ensure display lights up.
  3. Calibrate: For first use, test in boiling water (212°F/100°C) or ice water (32°F/0°C).

WARNING! Do not immerse the entire unit in water. Only the probe and lower section are waterproof.

Operation Guide

Power on thermometer; wait for display to initialize.

  1. Select temperature scale: Press °C/°F button to choose preferred scale.
  2. Insert probe: Place probe into thickest part of meat, avoiding bones and fat.
  3. Wait for reading: Allow 10-15 seconds for temperature to stabilize.
  4. Use HOLD function: Press HOLD button to freeze current reading.
  5. Power off: Press and hold ON/OFF button for 3 seconds, or unit will auto-off.

CAUTION! Do not leave thermometer in oven or on direct heat source. Maximum temperature limit is 572°F (300°C).

Battery Replacement

When battery icon appears or display dims:

  1. Turn off thermometer and ensure it's dry.
  2. Slide open battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove old batteries and dispose properly.
  4. Insert 2 new AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Close compartment cover securely.
  6. Test unit by turning on.

WARNING! Remove batteries if thermometer will not be used for extended periods. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Care & Cleaning

Clean after each use to maintain accuracy and hygiene.

  1. Wipe display with soft, dry cloth.
  2. Clean probe with warm, soapy water and soft cloth.
  3. Rinse probe under running water (unit is waterproof).
