Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all components are present.

Insert battery: Open battery compartment, insert CR2032 with correct polarity.
Test power: Press POWER button to verify display activates.

First-Time Setup

Power on probe; configure basic settings.

Set auto power-off: Default is 10 minutes; cannot be disabled.

Controls and Settings

Measurement Procedures

Calibration: Recommended annually or after heavy use. Use ice bath (0°C/32°F) and boiling water (100°C/212°F at sea level) for verification. Maintenance: Keep probe clean; store in protective case; replace battery when indicator shows low.

Care & Cleaning

Power off and remove battery before cleaning. Wipe probe with damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse display unit. Dry thoroughly before storage.

Troubleshooting
