Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, dry, non-flammable surface.

  1. Position charger: Ensure unit is on a flat, stable surface away from battery and engine.
  2. Check battery: Verify battery is 12V lead-acid (standard, AGM, gel-cell). Do not use for 6V or 24V systems.
  3. Prepare area: Ensure good ventilation; remove any battery caps if applicable (for vented batteries).
  4. Connect AC power: Plug charger into a grounded 120V outlet only after clamps are connected.

WARNING! Keep sparks, flames, and smoking materials away. Battery gases are explosive.

First-Time Setup

Power on charger; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Battery test: Connect clamps to battery; analyzer will show voltage and condition.
  2. Select charge rate: Choose 2A for maintenance, 10A for standard charging, 50A for fast charge.
  3. Start charging: Charger begins automatically after rate selection; monitor digital display.
  4. Engine start: Use only for starting; do not use as a continuous power source.

CAUTION! Always connect positive (red) clamp first, then negative (black) to a grounded metal part away from battery.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: POWER switch, CHARGE RATE selector (2A/10A/50A), ENGINE START button, Digital Display.

Display Indicators: Battery Voltage, Charge Status (Charging/Complete/Fault), Error Codes.
