Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Use only as specified.

  1. Do not exceed rated voltage or current limits.
  2. Do not use if meter or test leads are damaged.
  3. Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  4. Ensure meter is set to correct function before measuring.
  5. Disconnect test leads from live circuits before changing functions.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Do not use on circuits exceeding 600V AC/DC. Ensure proper insulation.

Parts Identification

Specifications

Measurement Procedures

Turn function dial to desired measurement mode.

AC Current: Set dial to A~. Open clamp, place around single conductor, close clamp. Read value.

DC/AC Voltage: Set dial to V= or V~. Insert black lead into COM, red into VΩmA. Touch probes to circuit.

Resistance: Set dial to Ω. Ensure circuit is de-energized. Connect probes across component.

Continuity: Set dial to Ω (continuity symbol). Connect probes; buzzer sounds if resistance <30Ω.

Diode Test: Set dial to diode symbol. Connect red probe to anode, black to cathode. Forward voltage drop displayed.

Display Symbols

LCD indicators: AC, DC, Hold, Auto, Low Battery, Overload.

  1. AC: Alternating current measurement.
  2. DC: Direct current measurement.
  3. Hold: Data Hold function active.
  4. Auto: Auto-ranging mode.
  5. Low Battery: Replace battery.
  6. OL: Overload or out-of-range.
  7. Ω: Resistance measurement.
  8. Diode: Diode test mode.

Tip: Refer to symbols for quick mode identification.

Battery Replacement

Uses one 9V battery (type 6F22).

  1. Turn meter off and disconnect test leads.
  2. Remove battery cover screw and open compartment.
  3. Replace old battery with new one, observing polarity.
  4. Replace cover and tighten screw.

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries. Dispose of old batteries properly.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with dry cloth only. Store in dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or water. Keep away from magnetic fields.
