Read all safety information before use. This is a CAT II 600V rated meter.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Do not use on energized circuits above 600V. Ensure proper fuse rating when measuring current.
Front Panel Overview:
CAUTION! Always insert test leads into correct jacks for the measurement being performed.
General Steps: Set function/range, insert leads, connect to circuit, read display.
Voltage (DC/AC): Set knob to VDC or VAC range. Connect black lead to COM, red to VΩmA. Touch probes to circuit. For unknown voltage, start at highest range.
Current (DC/AC): Power OFF circuit. Break circuit. For <200mA, set to mA range, red lead in VΩmA. For up to 10A, set to 10A, red lead in 10A jack. Connect meter in series. Power ON circuit.
Resistance/Continuity: Set to Ω or continuity symbol. Ensure circuit is de-energized. Connect leads across component. For continuity, buzzer sounds for low resistance.
Diode Test: Set to diode symbol. Connect red lead to anode, black to cathode. Forward voltage drop (0.5V-0.8V for silicon) displayed.
Replace 9V battery when low battery icon appears.
Tip: Always use a fresh battery to ensure accuracy.
Keep meter clean and dry. Store in protective case.
CAUTION! Do not expose to extreme temperatures, moisture, or dust.
Standard package includes:
