Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, dry surface away from flammable materials.

  1. Connect to battery: First connect RED clamp to positive (+) terminal, then BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal.
  2. Connect to power: Plug AC cord into standard 120V outlet after battery connections are secure.
  3. Select battery type: Use selector switch to match your battery chemistry (lead-acid, AGM, etc.).
  4. Choose charging mode: Press mode button to select appropriate charging speed.

WARNING! Always connect to battery before plugging into AC power. Ensure proper ventilation during charging.

First-Time Setup

Power on charger; observe LED indicators.

  1. Check battery voltage: Ensure charger automatically detects correct voltage (6V/12V/24V).
  2. Select battery type: Choose correct setting for your battery chemistry.
  3. Choose charging mode: Start with AUTO or recommended mode for your battery condition.
  4. Monitor charging: LED will change from red (charging) to green (charged/maintaining).

CAUTION! Never charge frozen batteries. Keep charger away from water and corrosive materials.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: POWER LED, MODE button, BATTERY TYPE selector, STATUS LEDs.

LED Indicators: POWER (green), CHARGING (red), CHARGED (green), FAULT (flashing red).

Charging Modes: TRICKLE (2A for small batteries), FAST (10A for quick charging), MAINTENANCE (float charging), RECOVERY (for sulfated batteries). Battery Type Settings: STD (standard lead-acid), AGM (absorbed glass mat), GEL (gel cell), LITHIUM (Li-ion on supported models).

Connecting Devices

Battery: Alligator clips to terminals. Power: Standard AC outlet.

  1. Turn off vehicle/device before connecting charger.
  2. Connect RED clamp to positive (+) terminal first.
  3. Connect BLACK clamp to negative (-) terminal or grounded metal.
  4. Plug AC cord into outlet after all connections are secure.

Tip: For maintenance charging, connect directly to battery terminals, not through cigarette lighter socket.

Charging Modes

Supports multiple charging strategies for different battery conditions.

  1. Trickle Charge: 2A slow charge for small batteries (motorcycle, lawn mower).
  2. Fast Charge: 10A rapid charge for car/truck batteries (monitor temperature).
  3. Maintenance Mode: Automatically switches to float charging when battery is full.
  4. Recovery Mode: Attempts to recover sulfated batteries with pulsed charging.
  5. Automatic Mode: Default setting that selects appropriate mode based on battery condition.

WARNING! Do not use Fast Charge mode for extended periods on small batteries. Monitor battery temperature during charging.

Safety Features

Reverse Polarity Protection: Prevents operation if clips are reversed. Overcharge Protection: Automatically reduces current when battery is full. Short Circuit Protection: Shuts down if output is shorted. Thermal Protection: Reduces current if charger overheats.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug and disconnect from battery before cleaning. Wipe with dry cloth only; no liquids or solvents.

CAUTION! Keep charger dry and free of corrosion. Store in cool, dry place when not in use.
