Safety Precautions

Read all safety information before use. Use proper personal protective equipment.

  1. Do not use on circuits exceeding 600V AC/DC.
  2. Ensure test leads are in correct jacks for measurement type.
  3. Do not measure current while clamp is around uninsulated conductors.
  4. Disconnect test leads from circuit before changing function.
  5. Inspect meter and leads for damage before each use.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Do not use if meter is damaged. Use caution when working with live circuits.

Specifications

Controls and Display

Front Panel: Rotary function switch, LCD display, data hold button, clamp trigger.

Display Symbols: AC, DC, V, A, Ω, continuity, diode, low battery, overload, data hold.

Function Switch Positions: OFF, V~ (AC voltage), V⎓ (DC voltage), A~ (AC current via clamp), Ω (resistance), continuity/diode. Buttons: HOLD (data hold), RANGE (manual range selection on some models), REL (relative measurement).

Measurement Procedures

AC Current: Set to A~, open clamp, place around single conductor, close clamp, read display. Voltage: Set to V~ or V⎓, connect leads in parallel with circuit. Resistance: Set to Ω, ensure circuit is de-energized, connect leads across component.

  1. Turn rotary switch to desired function.
  2. Connect test leads to appropriate jacks (COM and VΩHz).
  3. For clamp measurements, ensure jaw is clean and fully closed.
  4. Take reading from display; use HOLD to freeze if needed.
  5. After use, switch to OFF position.

Tip: For accurate current measurement, center conductor in clamp jaw and avoid nearby magnetic fields.

Battery Replacement

Replace battery when low battery symbol appears.

  1. Turn meter OFF and disconnect test leads.
  2. Remove battery compartment cover screw(s).
  3. Remove old 9V battery.
  4. Insert new 9V battery (6F22 type), observing polarity.
  5. Replace cover and secure screw(s).

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries. Dispose of batteries properly according to local regulations.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with dry cloth only; do not use liquids or solvents. Store in dry place.

CAUTION! Do not expose to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Keep clamp jaw clean and free of debris.

Accessories

Standard accessories: Test leads (red and black), operating manual, carrying case (optional). Optional: Extra 9V battery, alligator clip adapters, thermal probe (model dependent).

Regulatory Information

Complies with IEC 61010-1 safety standards. CE marked. Copyright © by manufacturer. For support, contact manufacturer or visit official website. Dispose of electronic waste according to WEEE directives.
