Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before use. Failure to follow may cause injury or damage.

  1. Explosion Risk: Keep away from fire, sparks, and heat. Do not puncture.
  2. Electrical Safety: Do not use if unit, cables, or clamps are damaged.
  3. Connection Order: Always connect RED clamp to positive (+) terminal first, then BLACK to negative (-) or grounded metal. Disconnect in reverse order (BLACK first).
  4. Vehicle Compatibility: For 12V DC negative-ground systems only. Do not use on 24V systems or electric vehicles.
  5. Personal Safety: Wear eye protection. Keep face away from battery area. Ensure good ventilation.
  6. Children: Keep out of reach of children.

WARNING! Risk of explosive gases. Never lean over battery during connection. Incorrect connections can cause severe damage or explosion.

Initial Setup & Charging

Fully charge the unit before first use and after each use for best performance.

  1. AC Charging: Plug the included AC wall charger into a standard 120V outlet, then connect to the unit's charging port. The display will show charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 12-24 hours.
  2. DC Charging (Vehicle): Plug the 12V car charger into your vehicle's accessory socket (with engine running), then connect to the unit.
  3. Charge Indicator: The digital display will show voltage rising. When fully charged, voltage should read approximately 13.0V - 13.2V. The charger may have an indicator light (red while charging, green when complete).

CAUTION! Charge only in a dry, well-ventilated area. Do not leave charging unattended for extended periods. Use only the provided chargers.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel:

Clamps & Cables: RED clamp (Positive +), BLACK clamp (Negative -). Cables are permanently attached to unit. Ensure clamps are fully seated on battery terminals.

Jump-Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps precisely. Ensure vehicle is in Park (automatic) or Neutral (manual) with parking brake on. Turn off all accessories (radio, lights, A/C).

  1. Check Charge: Press Power button on jump starter. Ensure display shows at least 12.4V. If below, recharge unit first.
  2. Connect to Dead Battery:
    • Connect RED positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
    • Connect BLACK negative (-) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the engine block or chassis, away from the battery and fuel lines. Do not connect to the negative terminal of the dead battery if possible.
  3. Start the Vehicle:
    • Ensure clamps have good contact. Start the vehicle's engine. It may crank slowly at first.
    • If engine does not start within 5-6 seconds, wait 2-3 minutes before trying again to avoid overheating the jump starter.
  4. Disconnect Immediately After Start:
    • Once vehicle is running, disconnect in REVERSE order: First remove BLACK (-) clamp from the vehicle's metal ground.
    • Then remove RED (+) clamp from the battery positive terminal.
  5. After Use: Turn off the jump starter's power button. Recharge the unit fully as soon as possible.

WARNING! Do not touch clamps together while unit is on. This will cause a dangerous spark and may damage the unit.

Using as a Power Source

The unit can power USB devices and 12V accessories when not jump-starting.

  1. Powering On: Press the Power button. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Charging USB Devices: Plug your device's USB cable into one of the USB ports. Charging will begin automatically. The unit will automatically shut off after 30 minutes if no current draw is detected to conserve battery.
  3. Using the 12V DC Outlet: Plug a 12V accessory (e.g., air compressor, spotlight) into the outlet. Ensure the accessory's power requirement does not exceed 10A/120W. The unit may shut down automatically if overloaded.
  4. Using the LED Light: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on the light. Press the adjacent LED button to cycle through modes (Steady -> Flashing -> SOS).

Tip: Monitor the display voltage. If it drops below 11.5V, turn off the unit and recharge to prevent deep discharge damage.

Maintenance & Storage

Proper care extends the life of your jump starter.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Contact customer service for battery replacement or service.

Troubleshooting

SymptomPossible CauseCorrective Action
Unit will not power onBattery deeply dischargedConnect to AC charger for at least 1 hour, then try power button.
Display shows "LO" or very low voltage (<10V)Battery over-discharged or faultyAttempt a full 24-hour recharge. If voltage doesn't rise, battery may need replacement.
Vehicle does not crankPoor connections, low unit charge, very dead vehicle battery1. Ensure clamps have solid metal contact. 2. Recharge jump starter. 3. Let unit sit connected for 2-3 minutes to transfer some charge to vehicle battery before cranking.
Vehicle cranks slowly but won't startInsufficient amperage, extreme cold, large engineEnsure unit is fully charged. Try a second crank attempt after waiting 3 minutes. For large engines (over 6.0L) or in cold weather, the unit may be underpowered.
Spark when connecting clampsNormal if connecting to battery terminal, or reverse polarityEnsure correct connection order (RED first). A small spark on final connection is normal. A large spark indicates a potential short.
USB ports not charging deviceUnit not powered on, faulty cable, device requires special protocol1. Press Power button to turn unit on. 2. Try a different USB cable. 3. Some modern devices may not charge from basic 5V ports.
Safety alarm sounds (beeping)Reverse polarity detected, overload, or short circuitImmediately disconnect clamps. Check that RED is on positive (+) and BLACK is on ground (-), not on negative terminal. Check for crossed clamps.

Reset: Disconnect all devices and clamps. Turn unit off. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. Reconnect to charger.

Service: For persistent issues, contact customer service. Do not attempt to open the casing.
