Initial Setup & Charging

Jump-Starting Procedure

Follow steps in order. Ensure vehicles are not touching.

  3. Connect black clamp to unpainted metal ground on engine block or chassis (away from battery).
  4. Turn on jump starter (press POWER). Some models activate automatically upon correct connection.
  5. Start vehicle. If it doesn't start within 5-6 seconds, wait 3 minutes before retrying.
  6. Once vehicle starts, turn off jump starter.
  7. Remove black clamp first, then red clamp.
  8. Recharge jump starter as soon as possible.

Tip: If alarm sounds, check connections immediately. Do not force start if unit feels hot.

Using the USB Port & Light

USB: For charging portable devices only. Not for jump-starting.

  1. Ensure jump starter is charged (green indicator).
  2. Connect USB cable from device to jump starter's USB port.
  3. Device should begin charging. Disconnect when done.
  4. LED Light: Press button to cycle modes (On > Flash > Off). Useful for emergency lighting.

WARNING! Do not use USB port while jump-starting. Do not exceed 2.1A total draw.

Maintenance & Storage

Recharge every 3 months if not used. Keep clean and dry.

  1. Wipe exterior with dry cloth. Do not use liquids.
