Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Failure to follow safety rules may cause fire, explosion, or serious injury.

  1. Wear Safety Gear: Use safety glasses and gloves when handling batteries.
  2. Check Vehicle Voltage: Only use on 12V DC negative-ground systems.
  3. Avoid Sparks/Flames: Keep away from open flame and do not smoke during use.
  4. Proper Connection Order: Connect clamps in correct sequence (positive first, then negative).
  5. Do Not Touch Clamps: Keep clamps from touching each other or any metal surface.
  6. Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area; battery may emit explosive gases.
  7. Keep Dry: Do not expose unit to rain, snow, or liquids.
  8. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from children and heat sources.

WARNING! Never attempt to jump-start a frozen battery. Do not use if unit is damaged.

First-Time Setup & Charging

Fully charge the jump starter before first use and after each use for optimal performance.

  1. Initial Charge: Connect the included AC wall charger to the unit's charging port. Plug into a standard 120V outlet. Charge until the battery indicator shows full (typically 12-24 hours).
  2. Alternative Charging: You may also charge via the 12V car charger by plugging into a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket while the engine is running.
  3. Charge Indicator: The LED battery gauge will illuminate segments to show charging progress. All segments lit indicates full charge.
  4. Storage Charge: If storing for more than 30 days, recharge every 3 months to maintain battery health.

CAUTION! Use only the provided chargers. Do not charge near flammable materials.

Controls and Indicators

Front/Rear Panel: POWER Button, Battery Status LED Gauge, 12V DC Outlet, USB Port, Charging Port, LED Light Button.

LED Battery Gauge: Press the POWER button to check charge level. 4 green lights = 75-100%; 3 lights = 50-75%; 2 lights = 25-50%; 1 red light = <25% (needs recharge).

LED Work Light: Press and hold the LIGHT button to turn on. Press again to turn off. Some models feature flashing/SOS modes.

Safety Alarm: An audible alarm will sound if clamps are connected incorrectly (reverse polarity).

Jump-Starting Procedure

Follow these steps carefully to safely jump-start a vehicle.

  1. Preparation: Turn off the jump starter. Ensure the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (lights, radio) are OFF.
  2. Connect Positive (Red) Clamp: Attach the RED clamp to the POSITIVE (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
  3. Connect Negative (Black) Clamp: Attach the BLACK clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the engine block or chassis (ground), AWAY from the battery and fuel lines.
  4. Power On: Turn the jump starter's POWER switch to ON. The battery gauge should illuminate.
  5. Start Vehicle: Get into the vehicle and start the engine. Crank for no more than 3-5 seconds. If it doesn't start, wait 30 seconds before trying again.
  6. Disconnect in Reverse Order: Once the vehicle starts, turn the jump starter OFF. Remove the BLACK (negative) clamp first, then the RED (positive) clamp.
  7. Recharge: Recharge the jump starter as soon as possible after use.

WARNING! Never connect the black clamp to the negative terminal of the dead battery if possible, to avoid sparking near battery gases.

Using as a Power Source

The unit can power 12V devices and charge USB gadgets.

  1. For 12V Accessories: Plug the accessory (e.g., air compressor, spotlight) into the 12V DC outlet. Turn the jump starter ON. The device will draw power until the unit's battery is depleted.
  2. For USB Charging: Connect your USB cable to the USB port and your device (phone, tablet). Charging will begin automatically when the unit is ON. The USB port provides up to 2.1A for faster charging.
  3. LED Light: Use as an emergency flashlight or work light by pressing the LIGHT button.

Tip: Monitor the battery gauge. Disconnect devices when not in use to conserve power.

Maintenance & Storage

Proper care extends the life of your jump starter.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
