Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all components are present.

Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert two AAA batteries observing polarity.

First-Time Setup

Measurement Procedures

Maintain proper distance (refer to distance-to-spot ratio).
Press and hold Power/Measure button.
Aim at center of target area.
Release button when measurement is complete.
Read temperature on display.
Use Data Hold button to freeze reading if needed.

Tip: For body temperature, measure forehead from 1-3 inches away in a clean, dry area.

Maintenance & Calibration

Regular maintenance ensures accuracy.
