First-Time Setup & Charging

Before first use, fully charge the unit.

  1. Initial Charge: Connect the AC wall charger to the unit's charging port and a wall outlet. The indicator light will typically be red while charging and turn green when full. Charge for the time specified in the manual (usually 8-12 hours).
  2. Checking Charge: Press the power button to view the charge level on the digital display.
  3. Storage Charge: If storing for more than a month, recharge the unit every 30 days to maintain battery health.

CAUTION! Do not leave the unit connected to the charger indefinitely after it is fully charged.

Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully.

  1. Preparation: Ensure the jump starter is off. Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all lights/accessories.
  2. Connection Order:
    1. Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
    2. Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the engine block or chassis (a ground point), away from the battery and fuel lines.
  3. Starting:
    1. Turn the jump starter unit ON.
    2. Wait 3-5 seconds, then start the vehicle. Crank for no more than 3-5 seconds at a time.
    3. If the vehicle doesn't start, wait 2-3 minutes before attempting again.
  4. Disconnection Order: After the vehicle starts:
    1. Turn the jump starter OFF.
    2. Disconnect the BLACK negative (-) clamp from the vehicle.
    3. Disconnect the RED positive (+) clamp from the battery.

WARNING! Never connect the negative clamp directly to the negative terminal of a dead battery if possible, to avoid sparking near battery gases.

Using as a Power Bank

The unit can charge USB devices and power 12V accessories.

  1. For USB Devices: Turn the unit ON. Connect your phone/tablet to a USB port using your own cable. The device will begin charging.
  2. For 12V Accessories: Turn the unit ON. Plug the 12V accessory (e.g., air compressor, spotlight) into the 12V DC outlet. Ensure the accessory's power draw does not exceed 10A.
  3. Using the LED Light: Press the light button to cycle through modes. Useful for roadside emergencies or work areas.

Tip: The digital display will show the unit's remaining voltage. Recharge when the voltage drops below 12.0V.
