Jump-Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps precisely. Ensure the jump starter is charged above 50%.

  1. Turn off the jump starter and the vehicle's ignition.
  2. Connect RED clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
  3. Connect BLACK clamp to a solid, unpainted metal part of the engine block or chassis (a good ground), away from the battery and fuel lines.
  4. Turn on the jump starter (press POWER). The display and clamp LEDs will activate.
  5. Wait 3-5 seconds, then start the vehicle. Crank for no more than 3-5 seconds at a time.
  6. Once the vehicle starts, turn off the jump starter.
  7. Remove clamps in REVERSE order: BLACK (ground) first, then RED (positive).
  8. Recharge the jump starter as soon as possible.

WARNING! Do not crank for more than 5 seconds. Allow 30 seconds between attempts to cool the unit. If vehicle does not start after 3 attempts, seek professional help.

Using Power Ports

The unit can power USB devices and 12V accessories.

  1. USB Devices: Plug your device's USB cable into either USB port. The unit must be turned ON. The display will show the internal battery level while in use.
  2. 12V Accessories: Plug the accessory (e.g., air compressor, spotlight) into the 12V DC outlet. Ensure the accessory's power draw does not exceed 10A (120W). Turn the unit ON.

Tip: Using high-power accessories will drain the internal battery quickly. Monitor the display.

Maintenance & Storage

Unplug all devices before storage. Keep clamps clean and dry.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe exterior with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquids or solvents.
  2. Clamp Care: Keep teeth clean for good contact. Inspect insulation for cracks.
  3. Battery Maintenance: Recharge fully every 3-6 months if not in use. Store at 50% charge if long-term storage is planned.
  4. Storage: Store in the included case in a cool, dry location (ideally between 32°F-77°F / 0°C-25°C).
